Below is a chart to help you understand the work that may be done when we visit your home. We perform pre-testing and a walk-through of the home so the crew can determine if any work can be done. Listed below are measures that may or may not be completed based on the initial assessment and testing. All work is done inside the home and usually takes about 1-2 hours. Post-testing is conducted after the work is completed to verify the leakage reduction.
In order to qualify for the energy saving lightbulbs and water saving showerheads, we have to pass at least one major measure (infiltration, duct or ceiling insulation) AND the income requirement has to be met. Additionally, the water heater must be electric to install the water saving showerheads. (See program requirements for more details)
